Travelling-wave tube amplifiers
Empower's 8000 Series travelling-wave tube amplifiers are specifically designed for high frequency, high power systems, component testing or laboratory experimentation and measurement. Customised units can be provided for specialised applications.
The amplifiers are compact, lightweight and self-contained. The units comprise a US manufactured TWT and a low-ripple, highly regulated switching power supply. Integral cooling, automatic recycle and TWT protective features are included. In addition, options are available, including an IEEE 488 data-bus interface, which is fully contained within the TWTA chassis.
