The Site Master S331L cable and antenna analyser, the latest generation of rugged handheld field instrumentation, is a reliable, durable and easy-to-use line sweep tool, providing eight hours of continuous battery life.

It covers the range 2 MHz to 4 GHz and provides a high level of performance to return loss, cable loss and distance-to-fault measurements. It has the highest RF immunity of any Site Master.

A sweep speed per data point of 1.5 ms (typical) saves time and enables easier identification of intermittent problems in real time. Helping ensure measurement accuracy is the standard built-in InstaCal, which provides fast one-connection calibration anytime, anywhere.

The instrument also features a standard built-in power meter for testing RF power in field environments.

Intelligent power-saving features such as sleep mode and an auto-display brightness function can extend battery life beyond the continuous eight-hour rating. The unit is dust and splash resistant, has an 18 cm TFT touch-screen display and weighs under 2 kg including the battery. The rugged design and compact size make it suitable for any field application.

More than 1000 files such as sweeps, set-ups and screenshots can be stored internally on the analyser. Every analyser also includes SweepMasters DIRECT, an easy-to-use online trace delivery system. The system allows users to capture, upload and deliver traces. Site traces can be emailed as links to the stored traces, as well as a PDF report containing plots of the uploaded traces.

The device can also be used with Sweep Master Pro, an enterprise-level, web-based line sweep and tracking tool for large multiple cell-site installation and maintenance projects, and line sweep tools, a free PC-based program that increases productivity for users responsible for numerous cable and antenna traces daily.
