JDSU JD745B and JD785B CellAdvisor base station analysers
The JDSU JD745B and JD785B CellAdvisor base station analysers offer RF coax and fibre inspection, RF and optical power measurements, spectrum and interference analysis, PIM detection and signal analysis for all cellular technologies in a rugged, portable, cloud-enabled instrument.
Innovative RFoCPRI technology enables performance of RF maintenance and troubleshooting activities at ground level at the Base Band Unit (BBU). This has some significant benefits: it minimises cell tower climbs and so improves safety; it minimises the number of instruments you need to take on-site; and it significantly reduces maintenance time and operational expenses.
RFoCPRI verifies CPRI link status and extracts RF (IQ) data transmitted between the Base Band Unit (BBU) and Remote Radio Head (RRH). This lets operators quickly and safely monitor and analyse interference of mobile terminals (uplink) as well as the radio’s signal analysis (downlink).
The ability to utilise RFoCPRI technology along with the optical power tests, the fibre inspection tests and the traditional RF tests, in one instrument, helps meet the ever-increasing challenges of managing cell sites as they continue to evolve.
