VeEX MTX150x Ethernet services test set

The VeEX MTX150x is a rugged, portable Ethernet services installation test set designed for field technicians installing, verifying, maintaining and troubleshooting Carrier Ethernet, metro, access, business services, fibre backhaul, microwave links and packet-based services up to 10 Gbps.

With native dual RJ45 support for 10/100/1000BASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T and 10GBASE-T, plus dual SFP+ optical interfaces for 100/1000BASE-X, 10GBASE-R and Fibre Channel testing, the MTX150x helps reduce the need for additional adapters and multiple instruments in the field.

For critical communications environments, the MTX150x provides test capability for validating network performance, confirming service turn-up and identifying faults quickly. Key Ethernet test functions include throughput, BERT, IPv4/IPv6, loopback, ping, trace route, RFC2544, ITU-T Y.1564 V-SAM, VLAN/Q-in-Q, MPLS, MPLS-TP, L2CP transparency and Layer 4+ performance testing including RFC6349 V-PERF and Ookla Speedtest Powered V-TEST for Internet access speed verification.

Its user-defined test profiles, remote access capability, VeSion R-Server workflow and results management, and automated reporting support consistent testing across field teams.
