The MSK 200/S2 is a compact signal meter for inspecting antenna and cable systems or even professional headend systems.

It can be used either in a lab or for monitoring remote-controlled headends as well as for final measurements on antenna and distribution systems.

Main functions include MER measurement for all digital modulation types, BER measurement, spectrum analyser with individually selectable start and stop frequencies, centre-frequency entry and span.

The Kathrein MSK-200 also handles satellite applications.

It is an analog and digital analyser covering 5 MHz to 3 GHz. It has a refresh rate of 5 sweeps/s and an LNB multimeter for making dish alignments.

The device has DiSEqC switching to handle multiple LNBs and it provides functions such as signal-to-noise and hum measurements, data logging and networking with its built-in computer with browser, low-resolution bandwidths for monitoring small carriers, channel selection in frequency entry, channel entry, user lists and MER.
