Appa 605 digital insulation resistance, handheld tester/multimeter
The handheld Appa 605 digital insulation resistance tester measures insulation resistance from 10 kΩ to 20 GΩ with test voltages selectable from 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 VDC.
Resistance can be measured from 0.01 Ω to 20 kΩ, with polarisation index and absorption ratio calculated automatically.
The instrument can also be used as an accurate multimeter for the measurement of voltages to 600 VAC/DC and resistance.
The tester/multimeter has a 4000-count digital display and a 48-segment bar graph. Insulation resistance is measured with a resolution of 0.01 MΩ. Low resistance measurements are made with a resolution of 0.01 Ω including earth bond resistance. The voltmeter function will indicate live circuits. It complies with Cat IV 600 V and Cat III 1000 V.
The tester has store/recall memory, comparator functions, auto power-off, remote test probe, test leads, alligator clips and magnetic hanging kit. Its alkaline batteries provide an average life of 200 h.
