Aeroflex has released auto-test II Motorola test and alignment support for Motorola XTS-5000 radios.

This allows users of the 3900 series to automatically test and align radios with minimum user intervention. The software is available for all 3900 series products including the 3901, 3902 and the 3920 series.

Users of the 3900 series can eliminate their computer as an integral part of the alignment and test. Operators can test and align their radios by simply pushing a button.

The 3900 connects directly to the radio via a USB or RS232 connection and controls the radio directly without the need for a separate computer. It is a closed lop system.

Since it does not rely on an external computer, the application is faster than automated test and alignment software. In addition, its accuracy means the radios are aligned to a much higher standard than previously.
