The CM605 multifunction clamp-on meter is designed for measuring 4-20 mA process signals, as well as the higher currents (up to 100 A) associated with general electrical and industrial monitoring and troubleshooting.
The versatile device is capable of measuring both AC and DC voltages up to 600 V and AC/DC current. It can also measure resistance up to 10 kΩ and includes a continuity buzzer to assist in circuit verification.
Applications for the tester include process loop monitoring, automotive electrical troubleshooting, industrial plant maintenance, general AC/DC voltage and current monitoring and continuity checking.
For operator convenience, the instrument can also hold the last reading in the display and capture the peak value at the time of the measurement.
The instrument features a 10,000-count LCD, 100 A AC/DC ammeter with low 10 A range, tapered jaws for crowded wiring or areas (ø 12mm jaw opening), auto-ranging, ‘relative’ function to compare two measurements, ‘auto-off’ function and low battery indicator.
