Extech Instruments EX600 series of true RMS clamp meters

The EX600 series of true RMS clamp meters features an IR thermometer for locating hot spots and NCV, making it an all-in-one solution for both electrical and HVAC professionals.

The range consists of four clamp meters: EX612, EX613, EX622 and EX623, all of which include dual thermocouple inputs for T1, T2 and T1-T2 differential temperature measurement. Providing true RMS measurements, the instruments are claimed to offer high accuracy in measuring AC voltage and current.

Additional features of the instruments include DC µA clamp meter function for HVAC flame rod measurements, built-in non-contact voltage detector with LED alert and ‘data hold’ plus ‘peak hold’ of current surges during start-up.

The EX613 and EX623 models also provide a DC current function useful for automotive, heavy equipment and marine applications.

The instruments are housed in a rugged double-moulded housing and are supplied with<0x000A>CAT III-600 V double-moulded test leads, 9 V battery, two Type K bead wire probes (-4 to 482°F and -20 to 250 °C) and a belt case.
