Field analyser

Monday, 17 August, 2009 | Supplied by: Westek Electronics Pty Ltd

The Taoma universal electromagnetic field analyser is suitable for measuring magnetic and electric fields in the frequency range from 5 Hz to 6 GHz by selecting interchangeable probes, isotropically or as single-axis measurements, and over bandwidths as determined by user-configurable band-pass, selective and notch filters.

The analyser incorporates the CE .NET operating system for data analysis in the field.

Temperature and humidity sensors and a GPS module provide exact location of the measurements. The instrument is available with an optional GPRS module permitting remote data transmission.

Other standard interfaces include RS232 (electrical or optical), USB, ethernet (RJ45) and SD card slot as well as a 0-5 V scanning input. There is a data memory of 512 MB allowing onboard storage of up to 250 h.

Results can be displayed as instant, average and maximum values or as amplitude/time variations.
