Tuesday, 13 March, 2007 | Supplied by: Westek Electronics Pty Ltd

The Bantam Instruments Wireless Wizard handheld spectrum analyser seeks out Wi-Fi access points and spectrum analysis in the frequency range of 2.4 to 6.0 GHz.

The broad bandwidth covers all Wi-Fi channels and the instrument's omnidirectional 2.4 and 5.0 GHz antennas are similar to those used in Wi-Fi systems.

In addition, there is a further 18 channel, 4.94 to 4.99 GHz public safety band analysis feature provided.

All network channels can be displayed and the instrument can zoom in on any channels of interest and then revert to display of the entire band.

The wizard is supplied with directional and omnidirectional antennas, and power adapters to permit operation from AC mains as well as a car battery.
