Fluke 772 and 773 milliamp clamp meters

Wednesday, 03 March, 2010 | Supplied by: Fluke Australia Pty Ltd

The Fluke 772 and 773 milliamp clamp meters are designed to measure 4-20 mA signals without ‘breaking the loop’, enabling technicians to measure low-level DC current in PLCs and control systems, correlate process indication with real physical value and save process downtime.

Technicians can also measure output signals from transmitters without breaking the loop, letting them maintain and troubleshoot process and automation equipment with no disruption to the process.

The meters are supplied with a detachable clamp and extension cable, so measurements can be taken in tight locations and difficult situations.

The clamp meters can simulate 4-20 mA signals for testing control system I/O, measure 4-20 mA signals with in-circuit measurement, simultaneously measure mA in-circuit with 24 V loop power for testing transmitters, source mA output signals and automatically change the 4-20 mA output for remote testing.

The meters are designed for use in industrial plants and commercial buildings.
