Impedance analysers

A range of precision impedance analysers with maximum frequencies ranging from 5 to 120 MHz for production, test and research applications has been introduced by Wayne Kerr Electronics.

The 6500 series features an intuitive touch screen with drop down menus and a Windows-compatible data format.

Offered in seven models for characterising components or devices from 20 Hz to 120 MHz, they can perform measurements in 55 ms with 0.5% accuracy and 1 MHz resolution.

The analysers incorporate USB and PS2 ports, are fully programmable over GPIB and can be remotely controlled via LAN.

A graphical sweep of frequency, AC drive level or DC bias for two parameters can be displayed in colour and software is included to determine resonance and perform equivalent circuit analysis.
