The DLRO200 digital low-resistance ohmmeter is suitable for the wide range of low-resistance testing applications which require test currents of up to 200 A. This instrument, which is one of the lightest in its class, is not only very portable, but also features a robust IP54 (splashproof) case which ensures that it will easily withstand the rigours of use on site.

Suitable for use in testing circuit breaker contacts, busbar joints, joints between railway lines and other applications requiring accurate resistance measurements at high test currents, the tester incorporates a large liquid crystal display which allows all test parameters and results.

It also has an internal memory capable of storing up to 300 test results and associated notes which can be entered by simply using the built-in alphanumeric keyboard. Stored data can subsequently be recalled to the display. Alternatively, it can be downloaded to a computer, or sent directly to a printer via the instrument's RS232 port.

To ensure maximum versatility, the test current used by the device is continuously variable from 10 to 200 A, making it unnecessary for users to employ separate test sets with fixed operating currents of, for example, 50, 100 and 200 A. The maximum test current for every test is easily set via the keyboard, ensuring that the equipment under test is fully protected against damage caused by excessive current flow.

This low-resistance ohmmeter has a measuring range of 0.1 µohm to 999 mohm. Four-terminal testing is used to cancel the resistance of the test leads and the instrument offers a choice of three operating modes.
