With the R&S ZVA-K7 software option, pulsed measurements have been integrated into the ZVA family of high-end network analysers.

Absolute levels, complex S-parameters and quantities derived from them can be displayed in real time by using pulses with a resolution of 12.5 ns. The option makes it possible to analyse periodic and non-periodic pulses as well as single pulses with an IF bandwidth of up to a maximum of 30 MHz.

Special advantages of the new method include simple test set-up and adaptive error correction when measurement settings are changed.
