Agilent has expanded its digital-storage oscilloscope portfolio with six models that comprise its next-generation 1000 series.

The scopes offer bandwidths between 60 and 200 MHz and are available with two or four channels.

The DSO1000A series can handle a broad range of debugging and test needs. They are designed to give engineers more scope than they think they can afford. Highlights of the series include: more signal viewing: all are equipped with a bright LCD that offers a sharper image and is visible from a wide viewing angle. With up to 20 kpts of memory per channel, they allow a full sample rate of up to 8x longer than other more than others. More capabilities: they can display 23 automatic measurements — up to 21 simultaneously — including measurements from a built-in six-digit counter. They also have sequence mode capability to help find elusive problems. Users can record and replay up to 1000 occurrences of a trigger for easy identification of glitches and other anomalies. DSP filters help users focus on the most relevant spectral content of signals; more productivity: standard go/no-go mask testing capability is featured, which allows even inexperienced users to perform precise parametric tests. USB connections and IntuiLink connectivity software make it easy to share and document measurement results.
