Thursday, 28 October, 2010 | Supplied by: Power Parameters Pty Ltd

The Ponovo T200A universal tester is also designed for the testing of current transformers (CTs) including polarity, ratio, excitation and burden impedance. It can also be used as a precision voltmeter and ammeter in the determination of CT parameters.

The tester comprises three independent voltage outputs, three independent current outputs as well as binary inputs and output. Voltage outputs consist of a 10-500 VAC, 1200 VA output; 0-120 VAC/DC, 60 VA output; 10-300 VDC, 600 VA output; and auxiliary DC voltage output (20-240 V).

Current outputs consist of 0-20 A AC/DC, 200 VA and 0.2-250 A in three ranges at a maximum of 2000 VA; as well as a third precision output providing 0 to 200 mA AC/DC.

The instrument is controllable via intuitive panel controls, can perform step-wise testing and can be remotely controlled via PC.
