Agilent has announced worldwide availability of the N9310A RF signal generator.

It covers ranges from 9 kHz to 3 GHz and a full range of modulation types, including AM, FM, phase modulation, pulse modulations and an optional IQ modulator.

With an external IQ source, it can generate various types - even I/Q modulated signals such as GSM, CDMA, OFDM signals as seen in modern digital communications systems.

User-friendly features, such as multiple-language display, 6.5" TFT colour screen and USB connectivity for automated tests and remote control, help to reduce operation time.

The unit expands the company's existing range of RF signal sources products to a broader consumer base. It can be used in high-volume consumer electronic manufacturing, low-cost R&D, service installation and maintenance, and especially in educational teaching laboratories.
