Agilent has included MATLAB data analysis software with the purchase of 86100C DCA-J oscilloscopes.

Combining the two enables engineers to analyse, visualise and filter signals. Users are able to obtain high-quality instrumentation and data-analysis software from a single source, simplifying work processes and saving engineers’ time.

The oscilloscope now has purchase options that allow users to include task-optimised configurations of MathWorks products: option 061 MATLAB — basic oscilloscope package provides an introductory software package for configuring and controlling Agilent instruments and performing basic signal and visualisation tasks from MATLAB.

Option 062 MATLAB — standard oscilloscope package adds functionality for filtering oscilloscope signals and analysing signal processing schemes.
