Test suite

Aeroflex has enhanced its support for CDG Stage II interoperability and CDG Stage I signalling conformance testing with the release of a test suite for the C.S0044-A specification.

This is a revision of the previous C.S00404-standard and focuses on EV-DO operation typical of a deployed multi-revision EV-DO Rel 0//Rev A network.

It includes tests for basic scenarios such as EV-DO functionality like HRPD session and connection set-up for Rev A and system re-selection as well as features unique to the standard including test case support for multi-personality, hybrid tests and specific EV-DO Rev A features.

Multi-personality support includes test cases for Inter RNC and Inter revision handoff functionality. Hybrid test scenarios include 1x features like mobile originated and mobile terminated voice and SMS calls with active, idle and dormant EV-DO calls.

There are test cases for additional EV-DO Rev A features such as multi-user packets, the subtype 3 RTCMAC protocol and enhanced idle state protocol.
