Hittite has introduced four GaAs InGaP HBT MMIC VCO products that are suitable for test equipment, industrial control, VSAT radio, point-to-point/point-to-multipoint radio and military applications from 6.65 to 10.15 GHz.
The HMC507LP5 (E), HMC508LP5 (E), HMC509LP5 (E) and HMC511LP5 (E) are integrated VCOs that cover 6.65 to 10.15 GHz, feature SSB phase noise of -115 dBc/Hz and half frequency outputs.
They integrate resonators, negative resistance devices and varactor diodes and also have good phase noise performance over temperature, shock and process variations due to the oscillator's monolithic structure.
