AR Worldwide has released two broadband amplifiers that are suitable for use as driver amplifiers in testing wireless and communication components and subsystems. Both amplifiers - model 400S1G4 and model 450S1G3 - have high level linearity, low noise distortion and full rated power across the band.

The Model 400S1G4 is a 400 W, 0.8-4.2 GHz unit that can be used as a test instrument covering multiple frequency bands. It is suitable for a variety of communications technologies such as CDMA, W-CDMA, TDMA, GSM, etc. It is also recommended for high power EMC test applications and where undistorted modulation envelopes are desired.

The Model 450S1G3 delivers more power in a narrower bandwidth - 450 W from 0.8-3 GHz. Both models are 100% VSWR tolerant.

The amplifiers are equipped with digital control panels which provide both local and remote control; and each offers extensive control and status reporting capabilities.
