WaveRider's LMS4000 NLOS (non-line-of-sight) broadband wireless system is designed specifically for the 900 MHz spectrum. The system is suitable for areas with heavy tree coverage or other line-of-sight barriers and delivers NLOS connections averaging about 5 km indoor and 8 km outdoor.

The device is fully scalable, supporting up to 300 business or residential subscribers on a single radio and over 1000 users on one access point. WaveRider's Dynamic Polling MAC enables grade-of-service controls that permit operators to guarantee access speeds. It has built-in deployment tools that help to plan the network to reach more customers and provide higher levels of service. The spectrum analyser and mobile survey utility are field-proven tools that ensure a professionally planned network. The system is fully compatible with RADIUS AAA. It also offers SNMP management and PPPoE support, enabling operators to manage large numbers of subscribers on a single system.
