Portable HF base station

The Minipack Portable Base Station is a very small radio package with proprietary military-grade frequency hopping offered as a standard option for those applications demanding covert, discreet or secure communications.

The package contains a Q-Mac HF-90 transceiver, a 4 Ah rechargeable battery pack and a special covert broadband antenna and AC mains charger. The contents fit tightly into a 'submersibly' waterproof carry case with a total weight of only 4 kg. This base station is suitable for all personnel who are on the move, whether in a vehicle, on a horseback or on foot, and who need the convenience of a quickly deployed system with a discreet antenna.

The device delivers 50 W PEP transmit power yet remains economical on power consumption. The transceiver has 255 programmable channels, is data capable and SelCall compatible.
