SAF CFIP Marathon is a wireless point-to-point microwave radio operating in the 1.5 GHz frequency band.
Designed for low latency data and voice transmission over long distances, the radio can cover up to 100 km, providing gigabit ethernet and 4E1 interfaces with total maximum throughput of 17.5 Mbps.
The radio is a full indoor solution, requiring the antennas only to be outdoors. The system is easy to install, manage and maintain, allows traffic prioritisation (VLANs and QoS - quality of service) and draws a maximum 25 W, allowing use of solar power.
Other features include hitless ACM (adaptive coding and modulation) for increased link availability, managed GigE Layer 2 switch and jumbo frame support (up to 9728 bytes).
