Tuesday, 09 June, 2009

Daniels Electronics has renewed its distribution agreement via the Icom Systems group.

The agreement will continue to facilitate Icom's ability to offer turnkey radio solutions for public safety agencies in the US as well as in Latin America.

With Daniels' recent announcement of a P25 trunked radio system in which Icom handhelds have been successfully tested, Icom will also have a larger portfolio of products to offer public safety users.

Daniels recently announced its new P25 trunked radio system. Building on its family of MT-4E digital radios, the standalone trunked system provides for public safety applications that require a single site system that is compact, easy to transport, and offers rapid installation and low current consumption.

Fully compliant to the P25 suite of standards, the system is designed to interoperate with all P25 handhelds and mobiles.
