Hytera solution assists FIFA Arab Cup
Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19 plus the attendance of 571,605 people, the organising committee of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup managed to deliver an event with the assistance of a communication system provided by Hytera.
Hytera TETRA system and TETRA terminals were supplied to the organising committee so that all stadiums and FIFA venues could be equipped with TETRA services. First built in 2006 in support of the 15th Asian Games, the ruggedly built and well-maintained system performed just the same as when it was new and has also served numerous other clients from industries such as aviation, oil and gas, commercial and many others.
In addition to the TETRA system, over 6000 Hytera TETRA terminals were manufactured and delivered within a deadline of two weeks for the cup.
