With a long list of software options available for the TX7200, this radio can be made as simple, or as feature-rich, as required.

Many enhancements have been employed in this model such as a 2 mm thick polycarbonate case and a one-piece aluminium die-cast chassis that will withstand the rigours of tough working environments. The electronic components are placed on the printed circuit board using modern surface mount equipment which ensures high reliability.

This commercial handheld is suitable for applications such as rental operations, hospitals, construction sites, shopping centres and hotels.

Features include: coverage from 450 to 520 MHz (in one radio); software programmable channels receive only from 403 to 520 MHz; 125 channel capacity plus 40 UHF CB channels; multi-trunk or signal strength voting standard; 1 or 5 W power; full built-in tone signalling - CTCSS and SelCall; alphanumeric LCD - channel and SelCall display; 6 programmable soft keys; 40 SelCall memories; full die-cast chassis; and a standard 120 Mah nickel metal hydride battery.
