The rugged Ramline PIII and GeneSys family computers are fully portable and feature removable wireless communication media, serial/IR/USB links, specialised docking station interface and voice command options.

The mobile computers are enclosed in a durable aluminium casing. Large 10.4" Ultra Hi-Brite TFT colour displays (SVGA) provide readability in all lighting conditions, including sunlight, overcast skies and fluorescent lighting.

The Ramline uses a Windows-based operating system (98/2000/NT) and provides either 128 or 256 MB RAM memory. Whether it has a 6, 10 or 20 GB hard drive, it is shock mounted to withstand shock and vibration.
