Mobile data collection and transmission

The datalog de Protect real time security and surveillance system, designed and manufactured by Deister Electronic, caters to the requirements for mobile data collection and real-time transmission. Flexible, user-definable customisation offered by the system provides a high level of security integrity.

This collector automatically reads chip-coded checkpoints (information held in a passive microchip that needs no external electrical power), stores the data and transmits the information real time to the central station. Temporary communication disruption is handled by an automatic, patented, radio dead-spot bridging circuit.

The heart of the entire system comes in the form of the WK 1204 Radio Interface and the Online Patrol software. The software runs on most Windows operating systems, offering real-time management and evaluation of data collected in the field, and is suitable for direct/mobile drivers or location guarding services.

The software works as a standalone system or together with Master Patrol, when the user requires in-depth evaluation and reports.

The radio interface, on the other hand, is specially developed to cipher high security encrypted data transmission between the central station and the data collector, using communication media such as two-way walkie-talkies, trucking radios or even GSM.

Depending on the existing hardware, the system may be operated in conjunction with commercial VHF (2 m band) or UHF (70 cm band).

The system allows surveillance of up to 100 data collectors in the field and can accommodate up to 1000 programmed checkpoints. With regards to memory, it is capable of storing the last 5000 transmissions or events.
