Berkeley Varitronics has unveiled the latest propagation analysis system.

The Gazelle’s modular high-speed digital scanning receivers exceed the distance-based averaging required to meet 40 lambda criteria essential for critical propagation analysis.

The system uses a high-speed bus that can house up to four independent receiver modules that simultaneously log the RF energy needed to plot out coverage maps.

It is claimed to be a low-cost test system, suitable for pre-build-out that provides analysis for the more advanced modulated systems, using WiMAX or LTE technologies.
