The TestAdvance RG-series of radio-over-IP gateways and family of softradio consoles provide non-RF access and control for more radio-types and applications, from virtually any IP access point.

The series is continually adding more virtual control heads, covering a wider range of radio manufacturers and types. VCH is supported for a range of analog and digital radios including Motorola, Sepura, Ericsson and Icom. Functions for Simoco and EADS terminals are in development.

The series provides a readily installed generic IP gateway for two-way radios of all types using the standard softradio console. One supports eight or 30 remote radios in the basic PTT function, with additional features such as the VCH as well as crosspatch, group send and further add-on features.

Both RG and softradio series are modular and fully upwards compatible, supporting a rapid and ready expansion of the RoIP network. Additional HW and SW elements allow radio networks to span heterogeneous and geographically diverse LAN/WAN topologies and support fully flexible and dynamic access from central, remote and mobile radio and operator sites.
