Sourcing specialist adds to rental package

Test equipment sourcing specialist Livingston has made additions to its Easy2Source range.

Easy2Source is a way to gain access to required items of test hardware without making any upfront capital commitment or being left exposed to the risk of purchased equipment becoming obsolete.

Companies can rent equipment for a fixed 12- or six-month period, then convert the payments made towards purchasing that equipment when the period comes to an end (or extend the rental period at a reduced rate if cash reserves still remain constrained). It is also possible to upgrade to another model at any point after the initial hire period when new test requirements need to be addressed.

Replacement equipment cover, access to the company’s asset management software and 24-hour technical support are now included in the package and manufacturers’ guarantees are extended through the rental term.

Manufacturers whose equipment is available through Easy2Source include JDSU, Anritsu, Tektronix, Lecroy, EXFO, Spirent, Agilent, Fluke Networks and Rohde & Schwarz.
