Aussie firm gets Airbus PMR accreditation

Airbus Defence and Space subsidiary Secure Land Communications has awarded 16 channel partners with an official accreditation certificate recognising their employees’ high level of skills in the field of PMR.

Staff members employed by the partners were honoured at Critical Communication World in Amsterdam on 1 June.

Among the group was Tim Whitfield of CSE Australia.

Airbus said the partners had shown technical self-sufficiency and up-to-date competence with Airbus Defence and Space PMR products, meeting the requirements of the channel partner accreditation program.

“I have great pleasure in announcing this first tranche of channel partners who have met the technical prerequisites and now are awarded our Accredited Partner TETRA Radios,” said Stuart Will, Secure Land Communications’ Director of Channel Management.

“Our channel partners will be able to show they have resources with this level of expertise, and will be able to display the new accreditation logo from Airbus Defence and Space, giving their customers confidence that they will be served by qualified professionals.”

“This is a move to raise standards,” added Marc Prieur, head of Care & Field Support. “All our ‘top tier’ Airbus Defence and Space channel partners will achieve accredited status as a new baseline in technical competence over the coming months.”

The other 15 channel partners awarded the accreditation were from companies in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Malaysia, Norway, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates.
