If you have a few spare moments, you might like to watch the videos below, in which Martin Lorton reviews a bunch of low-cost, small radios that are mainly aimed at the lower end of the market.

Please note, however, that the radios shown here are not approved for import into, or use within, Australia. There are strict regulations regarding licensing of radio equipment for use within this country, including a comprehensive (and expensive) approval process. Heavy fines can be applied to those who operate unapproved equipment, or who even just import such equipment.
