element14 has announced the expansion of its circular connectors, providing 160,000 for military, commercial and industrial applications.

The range for Asia-Pacific comes from manufacturers such as Amphenol, ITT Cannon, Cinch, Souriau and TE’s Deutsch brand.

The circular connectors are manufactured and referred to using their military specifications and carry a corresponding military part number, while those for commercial or industrial applications are specified by the manufacturer’s part number.

Commercial or industrial circulars specified by the manufacturer’s part number are used in applications where reliability and ruggedness are key elements, such as in applications for instrumentation and industrial equipment, and transportation; rail and air.

Military circular connectors include standard mil-spec circular connectors (Mil-DTL-5015, 83723 or VG 95234), miniature mil-spec circular connectors (Mil-DTL-26482, 83723, 26500 and 81703), subminiature mil-spec circular connectors (Mil-DTL-38999), heavy-duty mil-spec circular connectors (Mil-DTL-Mil-22992, 28840 and 28876), military audio and communication connectors (Mil-DTL-10544, 55116, 44074, 55181, 55243 and 12520) and MIL-C-26500 circular connectors, qualified to ‘9’ Boeing BACC45/BACC63 specifications.
