It offers high level performance in licence exempt wireless connectivity for LAN-to-Internet and LAN-to-LAN applications. Using Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum modulation in the licence exempt 2.4 GHz ISM band, it can be deployed quickly without applying for regulatory approvals, and without incurring any licensing or service charges.
