25 March, 2008Aeroflex and AT4 wireless have announced that the WiMAX Forum has designated the Aeroflex/AT4 wireless MINT223x protocol conformance test system and AT4 wireless MINT T2110 radio conformance test system as official test equipment for WiMAX Certification (802.16-2005).
Testing approval
06 March, 2008CTIA-The Wireless Association has approved AT4 wireless as a CTIA authorised testing laboratory for over-the-air (OTA) performance testing. The company has been added to the CTIA Online Certification database as authorised to conduct over-the-air performance testing for CTIA.
Support for W-CDMA A-GPS conformance testing
05 March, 2008Aeroflex has introduced the 6401 AIME A-GPS which it claims is the only test platform available that supports the industry-standard TTCN A-GPS protocol test cases as well as the Minimum Performance tests and the Open Mobile Alliance SUPL V1.0 (secure user plane location) conformance tests, as mandated by the Global Certification Forum and PTCRB handset certification bodies.
