Agilent Technologies RF EDA software
02 April, 2007GENESYS is an integrated electronic design automation (EDA) software from Agilent Technologies for RF and microwave component and subsystem designers needing affordable, professional design tools that focus on the task of the RF designer.
Gain block amp
02 April, 2007Hittite Microwave has introduced a high linearity InGaP HBT gain block MMIC amplifier for IF and RF applications from DC to 4.5 GHz, including mobile/PCS/3G, broadband, WiBro and WiMAX.
Indoor antenna system
02 April, 2007Radio Frequency Systems has developed ClearFill - a suite of end-to-end wireless indoor solutions that helps coverage in buildings and tunnels.
Transceiver enhanced
02 April, 2007AeroComm has enhanced the ZB2430 'ZigBee Your Way' transceiver range to feature output power, receive sensitivity and line-of-sight range (up to 5 km).
Embedded wireless ethernet modules
07 February, 2007Airborne is a line of integrated 802.11b/g modules from Quatech DPAC Technologies. The wireless module includes a radio, a baseband processor, an application processor and software providing a 'drop-in' web-enabled Wi-Fi solution.
Front end chip
18 October, 2006RadioScape has used its RF software to create what it claims is the first, software-controlled, single chip RF front end that can handle six frequency bands - band III and L-band for digital audio broadcasting, medium wave, long wave and short wave for AM and digital radio mondiale and band II for FM.
Ceramic disc capacitors
04 September, 2006Vishay Intertechnology has extended its range of ceramic disc capacitors with two series of components designed for RFI/EMI suppression. Both series comply with EN132400/IEC 60384-14 2nd edition, ENEC-VDE, UL1414 and CSA requirements. The VY1 and VY2 capacitors can be used in both line bypass and across-the-line configurations, to suppress both common-mode and differential-mod interference.
